Tura, Dec 24: Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank Tura Branch distributed christmas gifts to ten needy people of Tura town to celebrate the gift of giving on the occasion of Christmas celebration.

Ten needy persons from eight localities were gifted warm blankets to give comfort during this cold winter nights.

Initiated by the branch manager Barding Nokrek Marak, a small function was held outside the bank premises in Tura bazar followed by the christmas gift distribution.

“It is a small initiative from our bank to reach out to the most needy during Christmas,” said branch manager Marak.
