Tura, Aug 09: The CCBI Commission for Women – Diocese of Tura organized a day of prayer for peace in Manipur on August 8, 2023. The event took place at the Sacred Heart Shrine in Tura.
The purpose of the event was to express condemnation for the atrocities committed against women in Manipur, particularly highlighting the distressing incident where two women were paraded naked on May 4, 2023.
