Tura, May 20: The Tura Football League continued with it’s 21st super division match at the Chandmari Football Turf, between Selsella SA and Maram FC, on Monday, where the Selsella team won the match with 2-0 victory against their opponent Maram FC.

Selsella SA got the lead when Chiranjit Rabha opened the scoreline with a goal in the 14th minute of the first half. Soon after Saldish Momin also added to the lead when his goal caught the back of the net in the 21st minute mark.

The Selsella SA in the first dominated ball possession, cutting short Maram FC’s advances. However as the match moved forward the domination became static and both the teams were met with a dry spell of missed chances and empty passes.

Coming back from break, the dry spell continued for both the teams. Maram FC, though initially leading a relentless assault against Selsella in the second half, were unable to convert their chances.

Selsella, on the other hand, though maintained good ball possession throughout the game, seemed to be static in their 2-0 lead from the first half. The final whistle revealed Selsella SA to be the victors of the game.

Chiranjit Rabha of Selsella SA got the first yellow card of the game in the 16th minute, and Wall Marak of Maram FC received his in the 45th minute.
