Tura, Oct 26: The Central Puja Committee (CPC) organised a Dhak Competition cum Cultural Programme 2023 at the Police Parade Ground in Tura on Thursday evening.

The chief guest for the event was Tura MP Agatha K Sangma. Other dignitaries present were Meghalaya Speaker Thomas A Sangma, CPC Meghalaya president, NPYF Working President Dabo M Marak.

The event witnessed prize distribution for the Dhak Competition, followed by culture programme and performances by artists like Jitupan Borah, Rinki and Silberth.

There was also distribution of prizes for the best puja pandals in different categories.
