Shillong, Nov 26: A rowdy crowd created ruckus at the entrance of the Cherry Blossom Festival 2021 venue at Polo grounds on Friday evening as they did not get the tickets for the music concert scheduled for the evening. The tickets were sold out and the venue was at its full capacity for the designated number of people, as the event is being held with COVID-19 restrictions. Ultimately, police had to use tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Mentionably, it is mandatory to be double-dose vaccinated to be allowed to enter the venues of the Cherry Blossom Festival 2021.
