Tura, May 5: Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills Ram Singh on Wednesday took to social media to announce that all returnees from Shillong with have to undergo Covid test.
“All returnees from Shillong to be tested for Covid,” said a Facebook post of the District Administration, West Garo Hills.

The State Govt has announced five days complete lockdown from 8 pm tonight till 5 pm of May 10 in the East Khasi Hills district.
Three towns – Shillong, Tura, and Jowai are already under strict containment measures. The State Govt has also announced that weekend lockdown to be imposed in other districts of the State.
