Archaeologists discovered 2000-year-old Buddhist artifacts in Telangana

Hyderabad, March 30: The archaeologists of Telangana stumbled upon Buddhist artifacts dating back around 2000 years in the Phanigir hamlet of Tirumalagir Mandal, situated within Nalgonda District.

The uncovering of these ancient relics occurred during excavations conducted by the Archaeology Department of Telangana.

The archaeological team engaging in routine excavation work, made the startling find when they unearthed a treasure consisting of approximately 3,700 lead coins.
