Guwahati, Nov 27: The Australian team on Monday reached Guwahati in a special flight for the T20 international cricket match to be played against India on Tuesday (November 28) at Barsapara stadium.
The T20 match between India and Australia to be played at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati city of Assam is the third of the ongoing bilateral series.
The Indian team has also arrived in Guwahati.
The T20 bilateral series between India and Australia began on November 23 at Vishakhapatanam. In the November 23 match, India defeated Australia by two wickets with one ball to spare.
India has played three matches at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, winning one, losing one, and one game ending with no result.
Australia has played one match at the venue, securing a victory.
India’s highest score at the stadium is 237 against South Africa, while Australia’s highest score is 122 in 15.3 over against the hosts.
Traffic police have already imposed restrictions on vehicle movement in anticipation of Tuesday match’s rush.
