There have been for long a demand to set up a Police Out Post at Babadam village since the existing jurisdiction of Rongram Out Post, Selsella Out Post, and Garobadha Out Post under the overall jurisdiction of Tura Police Station covers a vast area making it practically very difficult to maintain law and order in the whole jurisdiction.
