Bank of Baroda donates ambulance to NEIGRIHMS

Shillong, Oct 21: As the cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country surpassed the 100-crore milestone on October 21, Bank of Baroda donated an ambulance to North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) in Meghalaya’s capital Shillong. Besides, an ATM machine was also inaugurated on behalf of the bank in the hospital premises.

Meanwhile, Sonam Bhutia, Deputy General Manager for the North East Circle of Bank of Baroda, presented the keys of the ambulance to Dr. Nalin Mehta, Director of NEIGRIHMS.

While talking to pressmen, Bhutia appreciated the hard work and cooperation of the hospital administration and medical personnel in achieving the target of 100 crore Covid vaccination.

“Today our country has achieved the target of 100 crore Covid vaccination and this ambulance is being provided by our bank,” said Bhutia.Meanwhile, NEIGRIHMS Director Dr. Nalin Mehta thanked the Bank for providing the ambulance.
