During the tour, the delegation will engage with the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretariat to review House proceedings, committee systems, and governance models. The team will also tour key heritage locations to understand the cultural context of the state’s policy framework. The exchange is expected to boost collaboration between the two legislatures.

“The visit is expected to further strengthen inter-legislative cooperation and encourage the exchange of best practices in parliamentary governance between states,” officials added.
