SHILLONG, NOV 14: Reacting to the NDA’s triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections, BJP state president Rikman G Momin described the outcome as “wonderful” and expressed happiness that the BJP emerged as the single‑largest party within the alliance.
Speaking to media persons on Friday, Momin declared, “In 2028, we will be giving you a very shocking results (in Meghalaya).”
When asked about the possibility of increasing the party’s current tally of seats, he affirmed, “Definitely. When LK Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji were two during 1984, so definitely in 2028, we have two MLAs, we may increase and definitely you will see the increase.”

“Definitely, we will be getting double figure in 2028 in Meghalaya,” Momin added.
Regarding preparations for the upcoming Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) polls, Momin said the party is working hard and anticipates an improvement in its seat count.
He also commented on the opposition, noting, “It is clearly shown in Bihar election that Congress is nowhere, they may get 3, they are getting only single digit.”
