Itanagar, Jan 12: BJP president J.P. Nadda on Thursday asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government has been pursuing ‘Rashtraneeti’.

Criticising Congress, he said Congress means ‘divide and rule’ and they, while doing ‘Rajneeti’, have never thought beyond politics and voting.

Addressing the Arunachal Pradesh BJP state executive meeting in Itanagar, Nadda said that Modi has ushered in an era of unprecedented development in the northeast region and brought it into the mainstream.

“Our double-engine government in Arunachal Pradesh has made the lives of the people easier by ensuring all-round progress of the state, and we remain committed to taking this growth further,” Nadda stated.

He further said, “From ULFA to the Bodo Accord issue, all big disputes, including inter-state border disputes in the northeast, have been resolved under the strong leadership of Modi. Militants’ sanctuary in the northeast region has now chosen the path of peace.”

The BJP leader alleged that the Congress is only interested in “vote bank” politics and never thought beyond voters and politics and added that the political culture of India has been changed by the BJP, while Modi has transformed the ‘dynamics of politics’ to nationalism”.

Asking Rahul Gandhi to read the history of the country to “know how his ancestors divided the country,” Nadda claimed that using Article 356, elected state governments have toppled 90 times since independence and insulted B. R. Ambedkar.
