Tura, Aug 13: In a spirited show of patriotism, the 200 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF) today organised a motorcycle rally in Tura to promote the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of the 79th Independence Day.

Flagged off from the BSF Campus, Dhanakgre, the rally concluded at P.A. Sangma Stadium, urging citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes from August 13–15.

Dressed in riding gear and carrying the Tricolour, BSF officers and soldiers rode in formation, drawing cheers and chants of Jai Hind from residents lining the route.

The event aimed to inspire public participation in Independence Day celebrations while reinforcing the BSF’s role in safeguarding the nation and fostering national pride.
