Banana Festival showcases North Garo Hills’ abundant produce and entrepreneurial spirit

In an effort to celebrate the abundance of quality bananas in the North Garo Hills region as well as to promote banana and its products, the first phase of the ‘Banana Festival’ was held at Bajengdoba C&RD Block in Gokulgre Village on Wednesday. The event showcased the diverse range of banana products while promoting their pivotal role as major suppliers to neighbouring states, particularly Assam.
