Shillong, Nov 3: The members of the Task Force on documentation of 50 years of  Meghalaya’s Statehood on Wednesday gave a presentation on the ‘coffee table book’, which will be released during the celebration of the Statehood day next year.

The presentation was given by Prof David Syiemlieh, the chairperson of the Task Force, in the presence of other members to  Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui and Chief Secretary Rebecca Suchiang.

Speaking to reporters, the CM thanked the members of the Task Force for their tremendous effort and the kind of information they have put in the coffee table book. He opined that people will be delighted once it comes out.

He also put it on record that the Task Force members have voluntarily given their time and knowledge to the project.
