SHILLONG, Dec 28: Congress president on Wednesday constituted screening committees for ensuing Assembly elections in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.

Guarav Gogoi, MP, has been appointed as chairman of the screening committee for Meghalaya while Hibi Eden, MP, and Neeraj Dangi, MP, as its members and AICC in-charge Manish Chatrath and MPCC president Vincent H Pala as ex-officio members, said a press release issued by the AICC on Wednesday

For Nagaland, Mohan Prakash has been appointed as chairman, Sanjay Dutt and Sankar Malakar as members and Dr Ajoy Kumar, AICC in-charge, K Therie, PCC president and Ranajit Mukherjee, AICC secretary I/c as ex-officio members.

Meanwhile, Deepa Dasmunsi has been appointed as chairman of the screening committee for Tripura, Kamleshwar Patel, MLA and SA Sampath Kumar as members and Dr Ajoy Kumar, AICC Incharge, Brajit Sinha, PCC president, Sudip Roy Barman, MLA and Szarita Laitphlang, AICC secretary I/c as ex-officio members.
