Shillong, June 7: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma on Wednesday met solo cyclist Aasha Malviya of Nataram village in Rajghar district (Madhya Pradesh) at his office.
Taking to Twitter, CM Conrad shared pictures from his interactions.
He wrote, “Ms. Aasha Malviya from Madhya Pradesh has travelled 10,650 km across the country with a message for Women Safety & Empowerment. Pleased to meet her in my office today”.

She is undertaking her cycle tour with an aim of making the citizens aware about “Women Safety and Women Empowerment.”
Recently, solo cyclist Aasha Malviya was in Nagaland as part of pan India cycle tour.
On May 13, she met Nagaland’s Governor La Ganesan in Kohima.
On August 1, 2023, Malviya will be ending her tour in Delhi.
So far, she has successfully traveled 15500 kms, covered 16 states starting from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on 1st November, 2022.
