Qualify for Paris Olympics

Guwahati: The Indian men’s and women’s 4x400m relay teams qualified for Paris Olympics after finishing second in their respective second-round heats at the World Athletics Relays in Bahamas on Monday.

6-years-old child killed

Guwahati: A 32-year-old woman allegedly threw her six-year-old son into a crocodile-infested canal in Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka following a quarrel with her husband. The partially eaten body of the child was retrieved from the jaws of the reptile.

Guwahati: Several vehicles parked outside the Congress office in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi were allegedly vandalised on Sunday night. According to police, they were investigating the matter, the Congress targeted BJP for the attack in which some Congress workers also sustained injuries.
