Shillong, Nov 30: Several leaders of the National People’s Party (NPP) from Jaintia Hills region extended support to Shillong MP candidate Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh on Thursday.
The Jaintia Hills leader consultation was held at State Convention centre which witnessed the attendance of all the NPP MLAs from the Jaintia Hills region.
NPP leaders also launched its campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Cabinet Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar said that the party from tomorrow would also visit other districts for campaigning of the party candidate.
Meanwhile, Lyngdoh expressed gratitude towards the leaders and NPP members for showing up which was a big encouragement. “I assure that I will work very hard and serve the people with the same yardstick,” said Lyngdoh.
