The lifeless bodies of three employees were recovered from the Institute of Science and BioResource in Umsawli on Saturday afternoon.

The Rangbah Shnong discovered the three lifeless bodies after receiving allegations of a bad odour coming from one of the rooms of the research institute. Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of death, but they believe the trio dies after consuming wild mushrooms the night before, specifically on Friday.

The three bodies have been identified as Sheba Kharbani (40), a cleaner, Rupert Donbor Dohtdong (43), and Backstar Kharkrang (30). All three were a residents of Mawlai Phudmuri.
