Shillong, March 18: Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayashankar on Wednesday approved the list of executive members of the Dhormonath Ch Sangma-led executive committee in the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC).
“…on the advice of the chief executive member of GHADC, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint the following members of district council as executive member of the said council…,” a notification issued by Commissioner & Secretary in-charge District Council Affairs (DCA) CVD Diengdoh said.
Stevie M Marak has been appointed as new Deputy Chief Executive Member.
The other 9 EMs include Sengbath R. Marak, Cherak W. Momin, Arbinstone B. Marak, Crozier G. Momin, Henen R. Sangma, Alphonsush R. Marak, Grahambell A. Sangma, Ashahel D. Shira and Nehru D. Sangma.
Sources informed that the CEM would soon distribute portfolios to the new EMs.
