Shillong, May 18: The United Democratic Party (UDP) president, Metbah Lyngdoh, on Thursday said more discussion and deliberation is required on the implementation of roster system so as any decision taken should be for the benefit of people of the state.

The UDP chief along with elected representatives of the party were present in the MDA meeting held on Thursday to discuss on the said issue.

On Friday, an All Political Party Meet will be held in the city to discuss on the Roster system in which Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma will give a detailed presentation on the matter.
