Baghmara, Dec 4: Police have recovered the body of a Class 10 girl student of Dalu school in West Garo Hills who failed to come back home on December 1, 2021. Her body was found in Dimapara village of South Garo Hills on Saturday. Police are suspecting rape and murder and post mortem report is being awaited.

Dalu police informed that the 17 year old girl went to write her selection test in school on December 1st but did not come back to her home in Chandapara village. Her family approached Dalu police station and filed a missing person report on Friday.

Very shocking news awaited the family after the girl’s body was seen in a place called Dangsa Adu of Dimapara on Saturday morning.

How the girl missing in Dalu ended up dead in Dimapara is being probed by police. The involvement of more than one person in the possible rape cum murder of the girl is an angle police are looking into after seeing the body left in an isolated place in Dimapara.
