SHILLONG, NOV 13: An introductory meeting of the Meghalaya State Planning Board (MSPB) was held today under the chairmanship of its newly appointed Chairman AT Mondal.
The meeting focused on follow‑up actions arising from the board’s previous minutes.
During the meeting, the board resolved to pursue action‑taken reports from priority‑sector departments, ensuring implementation of earlier decisions.
Co‑Chairman John F Kharshiing, Deputy Chairman, and members of MSPB were present.
The Principal Secretary of the board briefed the gathering on the minutes of the preceding board meeting.
The MSPB is scheduled to reconvene in December to review the departments’ responses and assess progress in the identified key sectors.
