Shillong, May 23: The Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District, Swapnil Tembe, has sent out a public appeal stating that during any program, meeting or inauguration, felicitation towards him is not required.

The appeal further stated that organisers need not arrange any kind of gifts, bouquets or VIP seating arrangements.

Instead, the Deputy Commissioner insisted on taking a resolution to contribute towards the general development of West Garo Hills.
