SHILLONG, MAR 3: West Jaiñtia Hills police on Tuesday issued a proclamation against Lambun Sungoh (52) of Khliehrangnah village, who has been absconding in a speacial POCSO case.
In a press release, Superintendent of Police Jagpal Singh Dhanao said the move follows a February 17 order of the Special Judge (POCSO), Jowai, requiring Sungoh — husband of Philibon Sutnga — to appear before the court to answer charges.

“The accused…has failed to appear before the Hon’ble Court,” the release noted.
Police described Sungoh as about 5.5 ft tall, oval face, black hair, swarthy complexion, and urged the public to inform the nearest station or call PCR Jowai at 9774065467 with leads.
The order directs wide publication so the accused is duly notified and directed to surrender.
