Agartala, Oct 27: Over 700 voters from different parts of Tripura joined the Tipra Motha Party during a mass joining programme held at Rabindra Bhavan in Agartala on Monday.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from people across the state, who came together to support the party’s vision of unity, identity, and self-determination for the indigenous Tiprasa community.
Led by Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma, the programme marked another significant step in the party’s growing influence in Tripura’s political landscape.
Senior leaders and supporters attended the event, stressing the importance of collective action to secure the rights and future of the indigenous people within the framework of the Indian Constitution.
Speaking to reporters, Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma said, “Seven hundred voters from various parts of the state have joined our party. Among them is C.K. Jamatia, the first IAS officer from the Jamatia community, who has now joined Tipra Motha.”
