Williamnagar, Mar 23: A special prayer service for the restoration of peace in Garo Hills was organised by the United Christian Peace Forum (UCPF), Rongjeng Unit comprising members from the Baptist Church, Catholic Church, Zion Church, Believers Eastern Church, and Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The programme was held at United Rongjeng Higher Secondary School, Rongjeng, and witnessed the participation of church leaders, school heads, and students from various institutions in the area.

The central theme of the programme was “Prayer for Restoration of Peace,” based on the scripture from John 14:27: “My peace I give to you.” The event concluded with a message of hope and a renewed commitment from all participants to work towards peace and unity in the region.
