Established on August 24, 1993, Durama College emerged as a visionary endeavor by the senior citizens of Tura, who recognized the need for accessible higher education in the heart of Garo Hills. The college began its journey from the premises of Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Tura, as a co-educational institution.
