Power Minister AT Mondal has rejected the demand for an independent inquiry into the alleged unprecedented cost escalation of the 22.5-megawatt Ganol Small Hydro Project.
The state cabinet on Wednesday approved proposal to sanction additional Rs 30 crore to clear all pending dues relating to the Ganol Stage-I Hydro Power Project in West Garo Hills District.
