Raijor Dal president and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has demanded the immediate dismissal of Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Malla Barua, alleging large-scale corruption in what he termed the “Gir Cow Scam.” Gogoi compared the case to the infamous Bihar fodder scam and warned of statewide protests if action is not taken.
