Meghalaya Police nabbed two inter-state drug traffickers who tried to enable drug transaction at Shillong but was caught due to the alertness of East Khasi Hills Police.
It is also suspected that these drug peddlers were sourcing drugs from distributors based in neighbouring States and have accumulated lot of wealth by peddling drugs.
Meanwhile, in mission mode crackdown against drugs, in the last 5 months Tinsukia Police have Conducted 71 Operations against Drugs and arrested 208 drug peddlers
