Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh on Saturday inaugurated the Integrated Textile & Tourism Centre (ITTC) at Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi district and announced a new weaver centre (WSC) and a roadmap for connecting weaver in Meghalaya to an income of fifty thousand per month.
In a landmark step toward positioning Meghalaya’s traditional textiles on the national and global stage, the state will inaugurate the Integrated Textile Tourism Centre (ITTC) at the Handloom & Sericulture Complex in Nongpoh on December 6.
