The Chief Executive Member (CEM), Pyniaid Sing Syiem, on Saturday tabled a deficit budget of Rs. 55,080 for the year 2023-24 for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), which was presented on the first day of the budget session of the council.
The 3-member delegation also met and interacted with the members of the KHADC executive committee. Executive Member Teibor Pathaw also took the delegation for quick tour of the Council’s building which housed the executive, legislative and judiciary.

A notification issued by the Secretary of the KHADC said that the Chairman Lamphrang Blah has recognized Chyne as the LO of the KHADC with effect from June 20.
