The Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) on Tuesday announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections at a press conference in Guwahati. The party has declared eight candidates so far, with names for the remaining two constituencies—Sadia and Guwahati Central—expected soon.
