In a big push towards fish self-sufficiency in Meghalaya, the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region has established what it describes as the state’s first model Aqua-Village at Mawdwar under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP), combining scientific aquaculture training with free distribution of critical inputs.
