Deputy Chief Minister and Chairman of the Regional Committee for West Jaintia Hills, Sniawbhalang Dhar, has stated that the report on the villages along the disputed stretch, including those under Block I and Khanduli-Psiar, is nearing completion.
After weeks of delay in the paddy harvest due to tensions between Pnar villagers of Lapangap and Karbi villagers of Tahpat, authorities from both Meghalaya and Assam have reached an agreement to restore normalcy in the area.
