In a major crackdown on tax evasion, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Guwahati Zonal Unit, has uncovered a ₹500 crore Goods and Services Tax (GST) fraud in the city. Four individuals were arrested on Monday for operating a massive fake billing syndicate from multiple locations in Beltola.
