The decision was taken at a meeting held with the State police and the Border Security Force (BSF) following the alleged harassment of a veterinary officer by the BSF.
The State Cabinet on Friday approved the Contingency Fund of Meghalaya (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 for increasing the contingency fund to Rs 1000 crore.
