Several areas in Tura were hit by acts of vandalism late Thursday night, with unidentified miscreants pelting stones at vehicles and damaging school property.
Miscreants set fire to vehicles, including a JCB belonging to the Joint Stock Company Industrial Association, during the early hours of Thursday in West Khasi Hills district.
The Project Manager of the Nongstoin-Wahkaji road construction company reported that at approximately 1:30 AM, the campsite of the construction company at Mawthungkper Village was attacked by three unknown individuals wearing masks, police said.
