The Ri Bhoi Police arrested two individuals on Thursday afternoon, suspected of involvement in the killing of a ten-year-old boy in Umtangar, Ri Bhoi District.
According to reports, Kitborlang went out with a friend on Saturday and did not return home. His body was found on Sunday evening in the jungle, with injuries to his forehead and face indicating he was murdered.
The incident came to light when the girl did not return home after going out in the evening on January 29, with her body parts later found from different parts of the city.
Two persons have been arrested for their involvement in the alleged murder of a 36-year-old man at Laitkor, on the outskirts of Shillong city, on September 19.
During initial investigation it has come to light that Aziz Ahmed, who is married and a father of two children, had been pressuring Mehek Sharma to have a relationship with him since last six months.
