The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly paid tribute to the late former Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, SD Khongwir, and former Rongjeng MLA Nihimson R Marak during the first day of the Budget Session on Friday.
The final rituals for Late Khongwir were conducted by the Presbyterian Church Mawlai, attended by his family members, hundreds of loved ones from across Mawlai constituency, and others from afar.
