The foundation stone for the Pemakoe Mindrolling Gonpa was laid on Tuesday by His Holiness the 9th Minling Khenchen Rinpoche at Tuting, near the Indo-China border in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
This Independence Day was marked not only by flags and parades but also by a powerful act of service. An eye camp in Tuting symbolised the bond between soldiers and citizens, united in their commitment to improving lives in far-flung regions.
