The globally acclaimed pop group, Vengaboys, has stirred excitement as they gear up for the upcoming Me•gong Festival at Baljek Airport, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The festival, scheduled from December 7th to 9th, promises a three-day extravaganza of music, culture, and festivities.
The festival is being held after a gap of one year. It had to be called-off at the last-minute last year due to tensions on Assam – Meghalaya border due to the Mukroh firing incident in which five people from Meghalaya were killed.
