Tura, July 5: BOCA Juniors secured a dramatic 3-2 win against Chandmary FC on Saturday in the fourth match of the Tura Football League Super Division 2025 at the P. A. Sangma football stadium.
BOCA Juniors initiated the scoring, with Bamthy Sangma finding the net in the 39th minute, ending the first half 1-0. Chandmary FC, despite creating opportunities, were unable to convert their chances in the initial forty-five minutes.
The second half witnessed a dramatic shift in momentum as Chandmary FC equalized through Donkam M Marak in the 75th minute, and Dimsrang Ch Sangma then giving them the lead just moments later with a goal in the 77th minute.
However, BOCA Juniors mounted a come back in the dying minutes of the game. Walter Marak leveled the score in the 83rd minute, and Sixbirth Sangma sealed the victory for BOCA Juniors with a decisive goal in the 87th minute.
The match saw two cautionary yellow cards issued to BOCA Juniors players Miller June Hajong and Bamthy Sangma for misconduct.
Prior to the kick-off, Chandmary FC took a moment to pay tribute to their former beloved member, the late ChangChang A Sangma (Chesrang A Sangma), in a touching gesture.
The next match is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, between Rongkhon Sporting and Maram FC at the P. A. Sangma football stadium.
