Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday opened up for the first time on Manipur violence, hours after a video of two women being paraded naked has gone viral.

Ahead of the start of Monsoon Session of the Parliament, PM Modi said, ” I assure the people that the guilty will not be spared and the law will act with its full might. What has happened to the daughters of Manipur can’t be forgiven.”

PM Modi said, “what has happened to daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven, guilty will not be spared.”

“Law will act with its full might,” he added.
