Shillong, Sept 21: Deputy CM in charge of PWD Tynsong, Prestone Tynsong, on Thursday, in response to Dr. Mizanur Rahman Kazi during question hour, informed that the Agia-Medhipara-Phulbari-Tura Road is motorable.
He said that from 0.00 to 32.00 km, the work has been taken up under the scheme for degradation improvement of the AMPT road under the World Bank.

Informing that from 33.00–41.00 km the DPR is under preparation, he said from 42.00–66.00 km the road is in good condition, but the few potholes that developed will be taken up after the monsoon is over.
He said that from 67.60 to 100.20 km, the construction work under the ‘improvement, including widening of the AMPT road, is under NESIDS, while from 100.20 to 103.00 km on the Garobadha-Selsella-Balachanda road sanctioned by the state government is in good condition, including from 103.00 to 124.00 km.
