Guwahati, Mar 14: Union Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, is all set to start the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha poll campaign with a public rally in Hojai on Friday.
Shah will also inaugurate the Bardowa project initiated by the state government, which is aimed at transforming the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardev in Nagaon district into a prominent tourist destination while preserving its rich history and cultural heritage.
The event marks a significant step in the BJP’s strategy for the upcoming elections in Assam, where Amit Shah’s presence is expected to boost support for the party’s electoral endeavours.
