Shillong, June 13: An earthquake of 4.0 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted Tura, Meghalaya on Monday morning. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt 43km east-northeast of Tura with a depth of 10km.
A tweet by NCS read, “Earthquake of Magnitude 4.0occurred on 13-06-2022, 06:32:02 IST, Lat: 25.68 & Long: 90.60, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 43km ENE of Tura, Meghalaya.”

However, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
